Subject: [I-S] Fixed-term Lectureship in Italian
italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
The University of Bristol is seeking to appoint a fixed-term part-time (0.6 FTE) Lecturer in Italian from 1 February 2020 to 31 January 2021. This post is to replace a member of staff on research leave.
The successful candidate will be able to offer research-led teaching and contribute to the existing range of units offered by the Italian Department, and an ability to teach courses on Dante and medieval Italian culture may be a particular asset. The ability to teach Italian language and translation at a range of undergraduate levels is also required.
The successful candidate will have native or near-native competence in Italian and English, and is likely to have, or be about to obtain, a relevant postgraduate qualification (PhD), as well as possessing some experience of teaching in the HE sector.
Interviews will be held in the week commencing 25th November 2019.
